Sharpham Dart Valley Reserve 2016

Tasting notes

Style:- Off-dry wine with rounded mellowness.

Colour:- Pale lemon colour

Nose:- Fruit aromas with hints of vanilla

Palate:- Ripe fruit with balanced acidity, a touch of residual sugar and a hint of oak.

Wine making

Free-run and pressed juice is used in this wine. All the different grape varieties are fermented separately and blended at a later date. We retain some residual grape sugar in the wine and part is also matured in oak.

Food notes

Wonderful with pasta and chicken.

Awards

Trophy Medal Winner  'Best Dry White Wine' - South West Vineyards Competition 2017

"A light, fresh blend, this starts with floral notes on the nose alongside grassy aromas, citrus notes and a hint of minerality. Alongside its balanced acidity, texture and medium finish, 'the apple and pear flavours transport you straight into an English orchard," Susanna Forbes
