Sharpham New Release 2017

This wine possess a delightful spritz and vibrant fruit characters. A hint of residual sugar allows for early drinking with or without food, ideal for parties. One of just a handful of English nouveau alternatives, 'New Release' captures the freshest of flavours from our latest harvest.

Tasting Notes

Style:- Early release with bags of fruit. Sweet pineapple notes.

Colour:- Pale lemon

Nose:- Tropical with a good burst of citrus

Palate:- Fresh and fabulously fruity with a zesty lingering finish enlivened by a light natural spritz.

Wine Making

The first hand picked grapes harvested during the 2017 vintage were crushed and pressed and the resulting juice inoculated with cultured yeast, especially chosen to produce this new vintage. The cool fermentation is performed in stainless steel. Once finished the wine is blended, filtered and bottled. All this is done from picking the grapes to the wine in the bottle in 4 weeks!
