Sharpham Rosé 2015

Tasting notes

Style:- Elegant dry rosé

Colour:- Light reddy pink

Nose:- Soft ripe summer fruit

Palate:- Dry and wonderfully rich with strawberry fruit and soft tannins.

Aging Potential:- Ages well for up to 3 years.

Wine making

The red grapes were picked during the latter part of October. They were brought into the winery crushed and de-stemmed before being put into a specialist tank to partially ferment on their skins. After 24 hours the grapes are pressed to extract the wine, before being transferred into stainless steel tanks to finish the fermentation.

Food notes

Delicious with 'finger' and picnic style foods. A beautiful accompaniment to cold meats; such as salami and ham and sweeter meats such as pork and patés. Also, great with white fish.
